CCC Confirmation Inspection Report for Lighting: Test Items & Application Process
I. What is a Confirmation Inspection Report?
Confirmation inspection refers to sampling inspection conducted to verify that certified products continue to comply with the certification basis standards. Meanwhile, periodic confirmation inspection of key components is regular sampling inspection performed to verify that the quality characteristics of key components consistently meet certification standards and/or technical requirements.
Confirmation inspection shall be carried out in accordance with the parameters and methods specified in the standards, under the required ambient conditions. The sampling frequency of confirmation inspection can be based on production batches or fixed time intervals, with the maximum interval not exceeding one year. This week, we will introduce the CCC Confirmation Inspection Report for Lighting Products—let’s dive in!
II. Routine Inspection and/or Confirmation Inspection
Factories shall establish and maintain documented procedures to control the routine inspection and/or confirmation inspection of final products. The inspection procedures must comply with specified requirements, covering content such as inspection frequency, items, scope, methods, and judgment criteria. Factories shall implement and retain relevant inspection records.
For inspections entrusted to external institutions, factories must ensure the external institution’s competence meets inspection requirements and retain evidence of competence evaluation (e.g., laboratory accreditation certificates).
