On September 22, the GTG Group Lighting CBTL Laboratory Certification Ceremony together with the Special Seminar on Lighting Product Global Market Access was successfully held in Songshan Lake, Dongguan. Co-hosted with UL Solutions, the event brought together lighting industry representatives and technical experts. Attendees witnessed the official awarding of GTG’s Lighting CBTL Laboratory qualification, and engaged in in-depth discussions on hot topics including global compliance for lighting exports, regional market access requirements, standard interpretation, and cybersecurity of smart luminaires, empowering Chinese lighting manufacturers to expand globally.

The event kicked off with a speech by Mr. Tang Qianxiang, Chairman of GTG Group. He stated that lighting exporters are confronted with continuously evolving global regulatory requirements. The CBTL accreditation marks a new milestone. The ceremony featured the core segment: the CBTL laboratory certification presentation. CBTL stands for IECEE CB Testing Laboratory. Obtaining this qualification means the laboratory’s testing competence and test data are officially recognized under the IECEE CB Scheme. CB test reports issued by the lab can directly support market access applications in multiple countries worldwide, serving as authoritative international proof of a testing institution’s technical strength.
